Description:
The Lake County Sheriff’s Department is inviting written bids from authorized
dealers, in good standing with the State of California to sell law enforcement MOBILE COMPUTER
SYSTEMS. Bids should be submitted in accordance with the requirements of this solicitation,
which are contained herein.

Is there a timeline for the purchasing, delivery and installation of the equipment?
None
Will the county be purchasing directly or going through a reseller?
Direct from vendor.
The RFQ specifies an 11.6” screen size. Will the county consider slightly larger screen sizes such as 12.1” or 12.2”?
11.6 is minimum required.
The RFQ specifies TPM 1.2, but in order for all of the security features to be implemented in Window 10 the hardware must have TPM 2.0. Can you comment?
TPM 1.2 is minimum required by County IT
Can the county provide an approximate list of the vehicles that will be outfitted (make, model, year)?
Vehicles are Ford explorer, Ford Sedan and Chevy Tahoe, approximate years are 2014 to present.
Is the county considering both removable systems (tablet PCs) and fixed mount all-in-one computers?
Keyboard and tablet mount will be fixed in each vehicle, tablets will be removable.
A different tablet we have a 10 inch and a 12 inch tablet, with equal or better specs
All specifications are minimum requirements.
This RFQ does not have any RAM specifications. How much RAM do the tablets need?
Minimum 8G.
