The Department is administered by the Director of Public Works and a management staff consisting of Division Managers. The Director also serves as Airport Manager, County Road Commissioner, County Engineer and District Engineer for Special Districts.
The Adopt-A-Road Program provides an opportunity for business's, organizations or individuals to save taxpayers dollars and beautify the community by removing litter along a stretch of a County road. The general public can report problems/concerns pertaining to County maintained or County Service Area roads on-line
, or by calling 263-2341 or 994-4824. If your complaint is regarding flooding, downed trees/lines/debris across or in the travelling roadway on the weekends, holidays, or after 5:00 PM weekdays, please notify CHP (707) 467-4000. The online complaint system is not monitored during off hours.
