The Lake Area Planning Council is developing a study, called Lake Walks, to identify which projects would most improve walking in the county's two cities—Clearlake and Lakeport—and in the unincorporated communities.
The agency wants your input on places where walking could be improved, and also your ideas and suggestions for improvements. Below are the various ways in which you can participate:

  • Fill out a brief survey. Everyone who fills it out will have the chance to win one of three $25 Amazon gift cards.
  • Pin comments about specific locations on an online map—also for a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card.
  • Stop by one of these events to learn more or to give your input. All events are open to the public.
  • Email or call John Speka (Lake Area Planning Council) at (707) 263-7799.

Your input is important, as it will help Lake APC develop the recommendations for the Lake Walks study.
