Information Systems

The Information Systems (IS) unit is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the computer systems utilized by LCDSS staff, including the purchase and installation of all computer hardware and software.  IS acts as a technical point of contact for various vendors and government agencies to assist LCDSS in meeting internal, local, state and federal goals, objectives and regulations. The IS unit also works with the County Information Technology Department for maintenance of various programs used throughout County departments. IS writes programs, creates reports and troubleshoots any computer problems.
