Third COVID-19-Related Death in Lake County

Lake County, CA (August 19, 2020) — It is with a great sadness that I report a third Lake County resident has died with a COVID-19-related illness.  This person was younger than 65, and recently entered the hospital with symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

Unfortunately, this person passed away earlier today.  We send our deepest condolences to all of those connected to this individual.  To protect the privacy of this person and their family, we will not be giving out any further information at this time.
This is another tragic reminder that all Lake County residents must take precautions that can slow the spread of this virus.  Thank you for continuing to do your part to protect those most vulnerable.
