Be Safe and Firewise this 4th of July!

Lake County, CA (July 3, 2020) – Remember, personal use, “Safe and Sane,” fireworks are only legal within the incorporated boundaries (City Limits) of the City of Lakeport.

Except as expressly permitted for organized fireworks displays, it is otherwise unlawful in the City of Clearlake and the unincorporated areas of Lake County for any person to possess, use, sell or explode any fireworks.

Effective immediately, people on private water systems whose tap water comes from their own private intake into the lake, in the Oaks Arm and Lower Arm of Clear Lake should not drink the water.
