Upcoming Vacancies

THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF UPCOMING VACANCIES ON ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS:

Animal Control Advisory Board: Three (3) vacancies – One (1) each: Supervisorial Districts 3, 5 and Member-at-Large

Big Valley Groundwater Management Zone Commission: Four (4) vacancies – one (1) Member-at-Large, one (1) Agriculture Users category, and two (2) Water District category

Child Care Planning and Development Council: Thirteen (13) vacancies – one (1) Consumer, four (4) Public Agency, three (3) Community Representative, two (2) Discretionary Appointee, and three (3) Child Care Provider

Cobb Municipal Advisory Council:  Six (6) vacancies – (5) Members at Large and (1) Alternate

Countywide Parks and Recreation Advisory Board: Five (5) vacancies - one (1) representative from each Supervisorial District

East Region 3 Town Hall: Two (2) vacancies – one (1) member at large and one (1) member of Clearlake Oaks Business Association

Emergency Medical Care Committee: Eleven (11) vacancies – one (1) Community College District, one (1) California Highway Patrol Representative, two (2) Consumer Interested Group, two (2) Emergency Affiliated Medical Care Coordinator, two (2) EMT Representative, (1) Private Ambulance Company, (1) Fire Department, and one (1) Redbud Hospital

Geothermal Advisory Committee: One (1) vacancy – one (1) No. California Power Agency

Glenbrook Cemetery District: Three (3) vacancies – General Membership (must live within the district boundaries and be registered to vote in Lake County)

Heritage Commission: Seven (7) vacancies – one (1) representative from each Supervisorial District, and two (2) Member-at-Large

In Home Support Services Public Authority Advisory Committee: Eight (8) vacancies – four (4) Senior Consumer, two (2) Disabled Community Representatives, one (1) Senior Community Rep. and one (1) Provider

Kelseyville Cemetery District:  Two (2) vacancies - General Membership (must live within the district boundaries and be registered to vote in Lake County)

Lakeport Fire Protection District:  Two (2) vacancies – Board of Directors (BOS appointees to this Board must be a resident of the District, live outside the Lakeport City Limits and be registered to vote in Lake County)

Law Library Board of Trustees: One (1) vacancy – one (1) Public Member

Library Advisory Board:  Five (5) vacancies - one (1) representative from each Supervisorial District
Lower Lake Cemetery District: Three (3) vacancies – three (3) General Membership (must live within the district boundaries and be registered to vote in Lake County)

Lower Lake Waterworks District One Board of Directors:  Two (2) vacancies – Public Member (must live within the district boundaries and be registered to vote in Lake County)

Mental Health Board: Five (5) vacancies – two (2) Member-at-Large, and one (1) Consumer and one (1) Consumer Family Member of a Past/Present Consumer and one (1) General Membership

North Bay Cooperative Library Advisory Board: One (1) vacancy – Lake County Representative

Scott’s Valley Community Advisory Board:  One (1) vacancy – one (1) Member at Large

Section 8 Resident Advisory Board: Nine (9) vacancies –General Membership

Solid Waste Appeals Panel: Two (2) vacancies – one (1) Public Member and One (1) Technical Expert

Solid Waste Task Force: Two (2) vacancies – one (1) Public Representative and one (1) Other

Upper Lake Cemetery District: One (1) vacancy – General Membership (must live within the district boundaries and be registered to vote in Lake County)

Western Region Town Hall (WRTH) – Three (3) vacancies – one (1) Public Member at Large,  one (1) Public Member - Nice and one (1) Public Member - Blue Lakes

All vacancies are Countywide unless stated. If you have questions regarding a vacancy on one of these advisory boards, please contact the Clerk of the Board at 263-2368. Applications are available at the Lake County Courthouse, Clerk of the Board Office, Room 109, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California, or online at www.lakecountyca.gov on the Board of Supervisors page.  Please note that all memberships on the above referenced advisory boards are voluntary.

Urgent Health Advisory

Effective immediately, people on private water systems whose tap water comes from their own private intake into the lake, in the Oaks Arm and Lower Arm of Clear Lake should not drink the water.
