Parks Design Concepts Public Meetings

Lake County Parks and Recreation invites you to attend an upcoming meeting to review the final draft conceptual design plans prepared for Hammond Park in Nice, Kelseyville Community Park in Kelseyville, and Trailside Park in Middletown for a potential state grant funding opportunity. Please check our website http://parks.lakecountyca.gov or the Public Services Facebook page for a preview of the final draft concept plans to be posted soon for your review prior to each final public meeting.

Upcoming meetings are as follows:

Hammond Park – Monday, July 1, 2019 from 10:00am-11:00am
Trailside Park – Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 10:00am-11:00am
Kelseyville Community Park – Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 10:00am-11:00am

Cyanobacteria film on top of water

Keep Pets & People Safe

In a Press Release issued August 28, 2019, an unfortunate incident was reported of a dog that died suddenly after swimming in the Putah Creek area. Although no prior cyanobacteria-related animal deaths had been confirmed in this area, local water and health officials were concerned cyanobacteria may be the cause.
