Temporary County Recorder's Office in Lower Lake

County offices in Lakeport remain closed due to Mandatory Evacuations.  In recognition of the fact that County residents may need to record critical documents, County Assessor-Recorder Richard Ford has established a temporary Recorder’s Office in Lower Lake.

The office is located at 16170 C Main St., Lower Lake, and is open Monday-Friday from 9am to 4pm while mandatory evacuations remain in effect in Lakeport.

“With County residents already dealing with numerous effects of the River and Ranch Fires, I want to make sure that the process of getting vital documents recorded does not present additional complications,” states Ford.

Residents can access Recorder’s Office services, including:
Deeds of Trust
Title documents
Other documents related to Real Property

“Like so many Lake County residents, some of our staff are evacuated,” shares Ford.  “We understand how challenging it can be to access information, and we want to help.”

County residents can reach the temporary office at (707) 263-2293.
