The Friendly Visitor Program provides companionship, support and engagement to the vulnerable population of homebound older adults who may be isolated, at risk of crisis, or at risk of losing their independence.
Socialization provided through the Friendly Visitor Program, among older adults, is intended to prevent isolation and depression and improve overall well-being.
Konocti Senior Support
Konocti Senior Support is an MHSA outreach program to homebound/ isolated older adults, offering one hour a week of home or phone visits by the Senior Peer Counselors or the Friendly Visitors.
Senior Peer Counselors are seniors who offer counseling to other seniors, under the training and supervision of a licensed therapist.
How to Participate / Volunteer
