Utility Severe Weather Energy Assistance and Transportation Services (SWEATS) Program - clients who have been affected by the fires in their area can contact us to apply for assistance. Attached is the flyer and application. This is a self-certification application. We would only need the application and a hand-written, signed statement of how they were affected by the fire. We also request that clients provide a copy of their current Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) bill to verify their home address, if possible.
We also have our Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) as well as new funding for the CARES Act program that was opened due to COVID-19. Clients that may have already received assistance with our HEAP program this year may qualify for more assistance through the CARES Act Program. They can contact us for more information.
