Be Safe and Firewise this 4^th of July

Reminder: Possession and use of fireworks, including those labeled “Safe and Sane,” is illegal in all areas of Lake County outside of the City Limits of Lakeport

Lake County, CA (June 30, 2023) – Remember, personal use, “Safe and Sane,” fireworks are only legal when purchased and used within the incorporated boundaries (City Limits) of the City of Lakeport. 

The Lakeport Police Department reminds, “Safe & Sane Fireworks will be sold in and legal for use in the City of Lakeport July 1-4.”

Except as expressly permitted for organized fireworks displays, it is otherwise unlawful in the City of Clearlake and the unincorporated areas of Lake County for any person to possess, use, sell or explode any fireworks.
