Continuum of Care Announces $113,627 Combined Funding Availability

Lake County, California (August 16, 2023) – The Lake County Continuum of Care (LCCoC) is pleased to announce the availability of $113,627 in combined federal grant funding for providers of homeless services projects across Lake County, offered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). There are two Tiers to apply for:
Tier 1: for renewal of the previous Domestic Violence Grant for $45,205. This project provided Rapid Rehousing Services to those who were victims of domestic violence.
Tier 2: There are two eligible project types:
- New Domestic Violence grant for $50,000. Projects must serve survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. Services can be Rapid Rehousing, Joint Transitional Housing and Rapid Rehousing, or Supportive Services Only (including Coordinated Entry for housing).
- Called the “CoC Bonus” grant for $18,422. There are 5 options within this funding:
- Permanent supportive housing that serve chronically homeless or eligible under the Dedicated PLUS definition.
- Rapid Rehousing projects that serve households who meet the homeless definition.
- Joint Transitional Housing and Rapid Rehousing component project that serve households who meet the homeless definition.
- Coordinated Entry (supportive services only) to develop or operate a coordinated entry system.
Deadline for applications is August 28, 2023 submitted into the HUD electronic grant management software e-snaps.
